New iLearn paper alert: Dr. Cuevas recently co-authored a paper “A quarter century of research on infant contingency learning: Current and future directions” that will appear in the journal Infant Behavior and Development.

Way to go, Pearlina Tran and Ali Mohiuddin, on your UConn Frontiers in Undergraduate Research presentations.

The CAP Lab travelled to NYC to present five research posters at the Eastern Psychological Association conference—while also enjoying great food and fun nights of karaoke. Dr. Cuevas gave a talk titled “It’s all about associations: Inference, potentiation, and transfer in 6-month-old infants.”

We are excited to share the news that Nour al Zaghloul has joined the CAP Lab team as a full-time RA for iLearn!

CAP Lab research assistant Ali Mohiuddin was awarded PCLB Psychological Sciences Undergraduate Research Grant to support his research project “Understanding Infant Vocabulary Growth through EEG Mu Rhythm during Action Processing” during this academic year.

The CAP Lab welcomes Livia Goulart da Trindade to our team as a full-time RA after graduating from UMass Boston!

Congratulations to CAP Lab undergraduate Raynia Martinez on her recent graduation from UConn! We are excited that she will be attending UConn’s Masters of Social Work program and will continue to be a member of the team.

The CAP Lab had a blast attending and presenting 4 research posters at the Eastern Psychological Association conference. Graduate student Kelsey Davinson was awarded EPA’s highly competitive Diversity Student Travel Award.
